Long DescriptionOn December 15, 1998, Ronda Reynolds, 33, was living with her husband of 11 months in the small town of Toledo, Washington-but only for the moment; she planned to leave him that night and fly to Spokane, Washington where her mother, brother and grandmother eagerly awaited her visit for the Christmas holidays. Ronda's marriage had disintegrated into a chaos of infidelity, lies, and arguments over money. The man she married the previous January, believing that her life was finally on a stable path wasn't at all who she expected him to be ...A decade later, the only thing we can be sure of is that Ronda Reynolds died violently. Over the years, her death has been officially deemed suicide...and then unknown...and then suicide ...and then, once again unknown. Her mother, Barb Thompson, has worked tirelessly to find some kind of justice for Ronda. At this writing, Thompson has won a judicial review of the investigation into Ronda's death. In essence, this means that a single Superior Court judge will decide in the next few months whether Ronda's widower, Ron Reynolds, should be arrested for her murder and tried. The Sheriff's department in Lewis County, where several sworn officers have admitted the murder probe was flawed, and the present prosecuting attorney have "lawyered up," still trying to sweep Ronda's death under the rug once and for all. Written with the complete cooperation of Barb Thompson, Ronda's mother, this is a homicide puzzle that Ann Rule fans will find captivating and haunting.

You  may have noticed that we were off line for a while here and there over the past couple days.

We had planned one short outage and posted information about it in advance. But after installing the new RAID system we still had to move all of the data off of the old system over to the new system.

Each time we got data off of one of the hard drives, we had to shut down the system for a short time to physically remove the old drive. We had to do this several times because we had several old drives on the old RAID system and they could only be moved one at a time.

We tried to keep the down time to a minimum but it still took a little longer than expected after the last drive was removed and swapped out. There were a couple unexpted issues relating to that last hard drive.

Fortunately, now with the new RAID in place, we can HOT SWAP drives. This means that when we change out the hard drives we don't have to turn the power off.

We still have a couple internal hard drives that do require a power off if we need to spaw them but it is unlikely we will need to do that unless one dies. The old drives didn't die, we just needed to expand the drive space with larger hard drives so we went to the hot swap system to plan for the future.
