FeaturesThe Alamo 162 Min, Not Rated, Widescreen, 1960/2000 Releasse
Long DescriptionJohn Wayne produces, directs and stars in this "bigger than life" (Life) chronicle of one ofthe most remarkable events in American history. At the Alamoa crumbling adobe mission185 exceptional men joined together in a sacred pact: they would stand firm against an army of 7,000 and willingly give their lives for freedom. Filmed entirely in Texas, only a few miles from the site of the actual battle, The Alamo is a visually stunning and historically accurate celebration of courage and honor. Co-starring Richard Widmark, Laurence Harvey and Chill Wills, and garnering seven OscarÂ(r) nominations*, it is a "truly memorable movie spectacle" (Leonard Maltin). *1960: Picture, Supporting Actor, Cinematography, Sound (winner), Editing, Score and Song

This weekend was a long one. We installed a new database server and copied all the data from the old server to the new one.

Then of course, we had to sync all the new data that collected on the old server while we were setting up the new server.

It was a time consuming process but we didn't have even one minute of down time over the weekend. The switch over was seamless.

The old server is becoming our backup server with instant data replication. This way, we no longer need to shut the site down for a couple hours each week to perform data backups. We can also run some of the more processor intense extract processes using the backup server instead of the live main server.

All these changes should mean more up time, faster response time and fewer issues long term.
